Ghorai Khadi is a slum area surrounded by marshy lands in the northwest area of Mumbai. Life is very difficult there, especially during monsoon season or extremely hot summers when diseases spread quickly. Our main goal is to provide a shelter and transitory home for 500 street children who currently lack education, food and medical assistance. We plan to create a place where they can feel acceptance as well physical and emotional support.
